Tim Lester - Software Engineer
I am a software engineer with a background in machine learning inference at scale in the biotech
sector.
My interests as of late have been in reproducible systems and the Nix expression language. Since
August 2025, I've been happy to be on NixOS for my primary gaming and home development set up. I
dove into a bunch of different tools I'd never seen before and learned a ton. I decided to write
this short bio and keep my website somewhat up to date because of my growing interest in this
area.
